Thanks to the modern iconography of this version of Romeo and Juliet, we were able to illustrate and create animations with such interesting elements as: arrows, letterings, guns, neons, daggers, hearts, clouds, snakes, palm trees, etc.
Art Direction
The film itself had a very clear art direction. That is why we took each shot as a reference.
Moodboard
Some initial compositions to see how the different elements illustrated coexist.
Final designs
With the sum of all these elements we managed to give an art direction with direct reference to the film.
